Michael Pellegrino Portfolio

For centuries music and graphic design have been tied greatly into social justice movements. From hymns to chants to technically recorded songs, music has been a way to connect communities suffering through similar hardships. Posters have been ways to express emotions and sentiments through physical and digital media. Graphic design and music are both strong outlets used by victims of various adversities. This project aims to emphasize that connection directly by linking a prominent song to a social justice movement from each decade, while also incorporating graphic design.
